According to World Health Organisation figures, 6.3 million people have been internally displaced and 2.9 million have left Ukraine.
These photographs cover Ukraine’s geography, from Kiev oblast through Kharkiv, Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporizhia oblasts. The cruelty of war returns to Europe in the 21st century, bringing us closer to death, destruction and sadness.
