My photo story is about the global warming affecting the ‘Gorai’ River in Kushtia district, Bangladesh; these photos were taken since in 2022, and the end of March, 2023 -sometime it goes to the almost dead.
There was a time when the river would full of water. But from many years the water in this river becomes less water or goes to the almost dead. It starts from winter and ends to summer or monsoon season, mainly due to the global warming; it is the first reason, but there is another issue-and the construction of the ‘Farakka’ Barrage/Dam in the Padma River in neighbouring country India! According to two countries agreement Indian government do not supply right water! Besides Indian government several times gave two different ways water supply in India; most of the seasons water supply to their different states river, that time they give little amount of water in Bangladesh-but they open the dam while monsoon! Because in monsoon huge amount of rain in Himalaya and the soundings large area then there are many rivers filled with water in India; also that time many states are affected by flood-So Bangladesh is also affected with flood!
Every conscious and nature lover human being do not like these agreement and the system same as me. As a son of the earth I would say it shouldn’t be any country of the world.
My last statement “We have to stop the things which causes for global warming; stop the any kind of
pollution-and every country should be promised and made only one agreement for stopping
the global warming! And every things have to make nature friendly, every people have to mind
to stop pollution and set-up clean world…”. Otherwise the world will go under water in a very
short time!
